Hi everyone, just one more post….
Just to confirm we will close the Community Computing classrooms on Thursday 16th December 2010, our last day ever! :-(
First up..
Congratulations go to all our students who attended the e-Citizen and ICDL Graduation on Tuesday 30 November. It was so nice to see you all there. What a fantastic day it was! Thanks to Bert Swindell one of our Community Computing students who spoke to us at the end.. this was a great talk and I know was enjoyed by all.

For our current ICDL students, your information letter on how to access the ICDL web based training and exams for 2011 will be posted out to you on Wednesday this week with all the relevant information including your new username and passwords.

On behalf of the team at Community Computing, we really do wish you all the best for 2011. It has been great to have you with us over the years, and as we close up for good, I know Community Computing will certainly be missed by all!

Graduation 30 November 2010

Hi everyone
This is your last week to take an e-Citizen exam or to finish that last ICDL exam to make it in time to this years e-Citizen and ICDL Graduation. Please let us know if you will be ready to take an exam by the end of the week.
For those of you that are graduating next week, we look forward to seeing you at Windermere campus in room H110.

Graduation letters have now been sent out

Hi everyone…

If you have finished e-Citizen or ICDL you will be receiving a letter from us to attend our Community Computing end of year graduation on 30 November 2010.
Please make sure you fill out the return slip and send it back to us asap… thanks

If you finish between now and the 28th November – we will hand you a letter and get you to fill out the return slip to make sure we get you booked in in time.

e-Citizen Revision Sheets

Hi everyone..
as you go through your e-Citizen training and task sheet, remember to ask your facilitator to show you where the revision sheets are.
These are set up for you to print off and take home to go over what you have learnt in the training and to re-enforce your learning.
* There are also answer sheets available to check off how well you have done.

A quick reference guide is also available for you to print off and take home with ‘tips’ and step by step guides to do certain tasks.

Happy Birthday to two of our facilitators! both Marc (Sunday 17th) and Jude (this Thursday 21st)

ICDL/e-Citizen Exams:
Remember to have a chat to your facilitator when you have just about finished your training to see about sitting an exam. We now have exams available for everyone in both ICDL modules and e-Citizen courseware..
